Week 4 In Progress Comments –

Stay tuned for witty insights as the games progress.  Brought to you by Demitris!

7:58am – According to our BFD field reporters, located at various stadiums throughout the country today, it sounds like there may be quite a few players returning from injuries.  Fournette, Alshon, Fitz, maybe even Gordon…might be game changers today.  Or not…up to you as clearly some teams like to leave massive amounts of points on the bench.

9:50am – Giggity.

10:01am – And we’re off…good luck to everyone today.

10:05 – lots of scoring from Thursday could make a difference today.  Arbitrage and No Fly up early in their games

10:23 – pretty slow this morning scoring-wise.  Also, that Detroit offense is atrocious right now.

10:27 – Jimmy Graham scores!…looks like Dookie and AVG might be the game of the day.  Also, Fitzmagic may be waning.  Good call starting Ryan by Intentional Grinding.

10:38 – Broker is only down 44 points…at the end of the first quarter of the morning games. Yikes.

10:49 – Broker is down 35…do you believe in miracles?

10:57 – Rumor has it that Intentional Grinding may be entertaining offers to trade Fitzpatrick.  Current market value – according to stats.com – is a jar of mayo.

11:07 – Peter Sagan with 4TDs from Trubisky in the first half on the bench.  Let’s be honest though, everyone in this league would’ve started Mayfield over Trubisky, just for the karma.

11:15 – Sagan has 5 players going Monday night…might be a record.  I feel bad for his opponent having to watch that.  #thatsme!

11:37 – Broker still charging hard, down 29.  Hopefully no one tells him that No Fly still has 5 players going this afternoon.  It’s good to see an honest effort, even if it is futile.

11:42 – Someone has offered a half eaten cup of ramen and a spork for Fitztragic.  Intentional is still taking offers.

11:48 – Yikes Eifert.  RIP that leg.

12:05 – Zeke…with a fumble into the endzone, certainly doesn’t help Broker.  Looking good for No Fly at this point.

12:13 – Speaking of teams limping along today…what’s up LL Urban!?

12:24 – The last two undefeated teams in BFD are certainly in trouble today.  Could tighten up the standings a bit.

12:39 – TBD’s last minute lineup changes that left at least 25 points on the bench is brought to you by Fremont Lush IPA.  “Fremont Brewing – for when you really want to think twice later.”

12:48 – Some think it might be Rudy…perhaps Rocky…maybe even Hoosiers……but could it be Broker with the greatest comeback.  Only down 19 now.  Destiny, more than just a good name for a stripper.

12:57 – RB Shot Down in Flames with perhaps the second best QB call of the weekend.  Starting Luck over Wentz for a few more points.

1:07 – some close games going on as we head into the afternoon kickoffs.  Time to watch the Hawks!  Updates may be a little sporadic for a bit.

2:31 – See the source image

5:28 – Well…not too much drama left as most of the games are sealed up.  Arbitrage and RBs are deadlocked with each having one player left.  TBD has a slim shot to catch up to Peter and his Sagan…just to watch Sagan throw down 35 tomorrow.

5:32 – In other news Intentional Grinding changed her team name to Not Deep Enough…or she meant to text that to Dookie and accidentally changed her name.  Not sure.

*************Monday 5:06pm – Gonna be a hell of a fun MNF game tonight…High flying offense rolls into a tough place to play, with Von Miller looking sharp.  There’s only three BFD games undecided at this point.  Peter Sagan is up on TBD by 5 points with 5 players to go tonight…TBD has Mahomes.  Fuck it, where’s Daddy’s gin? In the two other matches Arbitrage is down one to RBs but the Aholes have the KC K going tonight.  No Fly Zone is putting a whopping on poor Broker.  With a 37 point lead No Fly has Sanders WR Den going and Broker is tying Watkins WR KC to the burning post.

  1. So I think it was pretty cool that Pizza Hut incorporated my team name into an ad banner on the league page….”Dookie Porridge, we know that you’ve had a rough season. It’s ok, order a pizza” or something similar to that. Happened yesterday which was a few beers ago so I don’t quote remember the exact wording…but pretty damn funny nonetheless.
